Verestro SA (until recently under the name uPaid Sp. z o.o.), with headquarters in Warsaw, branches in Lublin, Częstochowa and Tarnowskie Góry and regional offices in Sofia, New York and Sao Paulo, is a fintech that for 10 years has been providing payment solutions to banks, partners and payment institutions around the world. We already employ a total of nearly 120 experts on 3 continents.
Verestro (Esperanto: “true leader”) specialises in the development, integration and management of APIs for banks and fintech partners, such as: NFC HCE, QR and person-to-person payments, loyalty solutions, or virtual cards and card and expense management. The company’s solutions are already present on various continents, with major projects being conducted in foreign markets such as: Central and Eastern Europe, South and Latin America, Middle East, USA, Southeast Asia.
In June 2020, Mastercard announced its investment in a fintech company by joining as co-owners of Verestro. This investment provides the company with a competitive advantage, access to new markets and customers and financial stability.
